Prior to starting with Houston Electric Michael worked in the IT industry. Michael started his IT career with a company in Enid that provided IT services to many businesses throughout Oklahoma. Michael started as a desktop technician and quickly moved into network and systems administration.

Michael started with Houston Electric in 2012 to begin his journey into the automation industry. Michael started building, programming, and installing custom control panels in the oil and gas industry. Before long, the department was growing and hiring individuals to expand the automation department.

The automation department was started focusing on fluid control in the oil and gas industry and quickly transformed adding a hosted SCADA system to provide customers with the ability to control and monitor their processes from any location 24/7. After 4 years with Houston Electric Michael passed his Journeyman Electrical exam on his first attempt.

Michael excels at evaluating process conditions and expected operations to provide solutions to not only control the process but also provide reliability and accessibility. Michael has been a member of the operations management team since 2014 helping to drive the success of the business.
